Beyond Blue

Information about anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicide. Information is categorised for young people, men, women, older people, multicultural Australians, LGBTI, pregnant mums and new parents and also Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. Resources include forums and online chats, downloadable information and online videos.

The Black Dog Institute

This Australian mental health website has many resources relating to Bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, suicide and PTSD. These include online quizzes and self tests, information sheets about mental health conditions, and information about the warning signs of suicide.

Lifeline

Lifeline offers crisis support and suicide prevention services in Australia. This website has factsheets about suicide and other mental health issues, a self-kit for staying calm, plus a crisis support chat facility.

BluePages

BluePages was developed by Australian National University. It provides information about depression – symptoms of depression, treatment options, ways depression is diagnosed (including quizzes)

An interactive self-help book which helps you to learn and practise skills to prevent and manage symptoms of depression and anxiety.

Sane is a national Australian charity that aims to improve the lives of Australians and reduce the risk of suicide. This Australian website on mental health offers factsheets and guides about mental illnesses, informative videos and an online chat service.
